Foreword

On June 30, the 2026 Qingdao Water Conference & Expo grandly opened at the CREC · Qingdao World Expo City. This Asia-Pacific water industry event, bringing together over 2,000 industry elites from more than 50 countries, quickly became the core stage where innovative technologies and industrial applications converged.

At this grand water industry event, Proshare made a brilliant appearance with its independently developed third-generation nano-composite thin-film (TFN) membrane technology and key application achievements, becoming a focal point of the exhibition.

01 A Moment of Glory: 100,000-Ton Seawater Desalination Project Wins "Project Star"

01-1

Proshare's 100,000-Ton Seawater Desalination Demonstration Project Wins "Project Star" Award at 2026 Qingdao International Water Expo! This honor is not only an authoritative recognition of Proshare's technological strength but also a major milestone for China's high-end membrane industry in achieving 100% localized production in the seawater desalination sector.

This demonstration project is the first 100,000-ton-per-day seawater desalination plant in China, with its core process utilizing Proshare's independently developed third-generation nano-composite thin-film (TFN) membrane elements. The project has a total designed capacity of 150,000 tons per day, capable of meeting the daily water needs of 500,000 people, making it a vital infrastructure project for safeguarding coastal water resources.

It is worth noting that the Tianjin Dagang Newquan Desalination Plant received the "Highly Commended Award for Desalination Plant of the Year" at the Global Water Awards back in 2010 and has remained an industry benchmark for over a decade. This latest award-winning 100,000-ton project stands as yet another testament to Proshare's continued commitment and technological advancement in the large-scale desalination field.

Dual-Membrane System Achieves Both Economic and Environmental Gains

This demonstration project not only leads in scale but also sets a new benchmark in green and low-carbon operations. The project adopts an innovative dual-membrane system process combined with a brine recirculation model, delivering significant economic and environmental benefits:

· Over RMB 10 million saved in electricity costs annually
· Over 5,000 tons of carbon emissions reduced annually

These tangible figures underscore Proshare's strong capabilities in energy conservation, consumption reduction, and low-carbon development, while also demonstrating the immense potential of domestically produced high-end membrane technology in safeguarding water security and advancing the "dual carbon" goals.
